Self care....are you taking care of You?

We all have been consumed with the many events that have emerged this year. Everyone has had to deal with the after effects that have come from all the uncertainty in the world. While your being careful to protect your loved ones, it's important to also make sure you take care of yourself. We often never take the time to truly nourish the spirit and get to a place of feeling safe. In the mist of all the madness remember to do a #selfcare check up. Take a look our list and see if you can take a moment for your self to realign and escape, even if it is for 20 minutes. You deserve it, and you will be more equipped to serve the ones closest to you.


  1. Take a 15 min walk. Take in the scenery, breathe the fresh air and enjoy the alone time. Focus on happy thoughts and be grateful for just being alive.

  2. 2. Take a break from the news. Many people feel worse after watching the news. Sometimes it is caution overload. Ease your mind by reading a book or Journaling your thoughts.

  3. 3. Treat yourself to a much needed spa treatment. It can be a simple manicure or full body massage. Allow yourself time to heal from the inside out. Human touch has a way of soothing the soul. Let go and let someone else do the work

  4. 4. Laugh. Laughter is the best medicine to help you forget the blues. Whether you watch a comedy or tell silly jokes, laughing can leave you stitches that actually boost your adrenaline and mood.

  5. Reflect. Reflection can bring about profound awareness. It will make you realize just how good life is. Although obstacles come we still have the opportunity to create a life of love, light and joy. It just takes being deliberate.

Start taking the time to value yourself. Know your worth, and put you first . And take some time to enjoy the view around you.
