Motivation Monday Mindset

Writer: SylviaSylvia

Ephesians 4:31-32

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Whether these written words resonate with you from your religious background or not , they are words in which can alter the way you think and feel.

Too many of us are walking around carrying loads of un-forgiveness. Unwilling to understand that no amount un-forgiveness is good for the soul. It is true that while others may wrong you many times and never make situations right holding on to ill feelings will only keep you angry and unhappy inside. We all deserve to be given a fair opportunity to make things right, and many times the wrongdoer will avoid doing so. Remember that you hold the power within to forgive.

None of us is perfect. Forgiveness is never about the other person. Forgiveness is always about you. It is not the easiest to do at times, so it is truly a lesson in tolerance, mercy and grace. When we forgive we show that we are powerful and in control. We show others that love and grace rule and not anger and strife. Many believe that ignoring, or giving in is a sign of weakness, When really it is a sign of humility . Holding on to un-forgiveness can have an effect on your health. It causes stress that can lead to worse. Tomorrow is not promised, if today is all you had left, work to live it to your best ability. Forgive and know that you are forgiven. The person who allows such attitudes in his life becomes joyless and sour. His health suffers, as do his relationships. When we don't release our offended feelings, they will eventually control us.

On this Mindset Monday, remember that your

job is to live a full and abundant life. full of love and good health. Giving up anger and bitterness is the best way to be happier. Open your heart so that you can live your absolute best life.
