2. Make sure the colors you are wearing work well with your skin tone. When this is done, you use less product and get better results. Knowing if you have cool or warm undertones helps in the process of choosing colors and formulas that suit your skin the best.

3. Less is more. Using a few simple items is far better then trying to follow steps that take tons of makeup. Focus on the areas of the face that you want to highlight, like your lips, eyelashes and concealer. Learn to create a look that makes you look and feel fresh.

4. Don't sweat the small stuff. Focus on feeling good about your routine. Having a routine that is easy to do in minutes, verses hours is what you are going for.

5. Leave all the highlighting and contouring to the instafamous faces...Seek out a professional that can help you achieve a chiseled look in a few simple steps.
